Jack Schlossberg, the only grandson of former president John F. Kennedy has issued a challenge to Joe Rogan on his Instagram following the release of the remaining files related to Kennedy's assassination.
Newsweek has reached out to Schlossberg and to a representative for Rogan via email outside of regular working hours for comment.
The Context
The Trump administration released the remaining files relating to the assassination on Tuesday. President Donald Trump had long pledged to declassify the remaining files, a trove of thousands of government documents related to Kennedy's assassination in Dallas, Texas, on November 22, 1963. The files consist of investigative reports, memos, communications and other documents related to the government's investigation into the president's death.
Rogan, whose podcast The Joe Rogan Experience is hugely popular, has regularly expressed skepticism about the official narrative surrounding Kennedy's assassination and has frequently discussed conspiracy theories on his podcast.

What To Know
In a video shared to his Instagram, where he has over 600,000 followers, Schlossberg said: "Hey Joe Rogan what's up you short [censored]. You gonna go through all the JFK assassination files tomorrow with your little butt buddy Bobby? You better after you spread all those lies? You're not gonna go make sure that they're true? How's the weather down there?"
The video was captioned, "Joe stand up so we can see — have me on your show just kidding your too scared to talk to someone who doesn't agree with you."
Schlossberg made frequent references to Rogan's height in the Instagram video, which comes shortly after a viral TikTok trend where social media users were posting a slew of videos about Rogan's height, claiming that he is 5 feet, 2 inches tall.
Rogan has not yet esponded to Schlossberg's video.
Back in 2023, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the now-Secretary of Health and Human Services and Schlossberg's cousin, went on Rogan's show where he speculated about his uncle's assassination.
He told Rogan that he thinks he would be assassinated by the CIA if he were to be elected president. That same year, during an interview with John Catsimatidis, he said: "I think there is overwhelming evidence that the CIA was involved in his [Kennedy's] murder." The files were also discussed during Rogan's interview with Trump in October 2024.
Schlossberg addressed Rogan's interview with his cousin directly in a January Instagram post where he said: "You had RFK Jr. on your show and he spewed a lot of lies about the JFK assassination and it kind of all went unchecked and you believed him a little bit and you let him do that. And now since Trump did the declassification and RFK Jr. can't hide behind that anymore, I think you should have him back on your show and ask him why he lied to everybody about how the CIA killed President Kennedy.
"If someone's willing to make all those crazy claims and now they have all the info I just really think it's a, it's incumbent upon the people who promoted all those lies to have some clarity and to get the answer straight."
Most of the files related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, appear to be focused on the initial investigation by the Warren Commission in 1964. It is currently not clear whether any new information about Kennedy's death, or about the investigation, is covered by the files.
What People Are Saying
Jack Schlossberg on X following the release of the files: "President Trump is obsessed with my grandfather — but not in his life or what he achieved in it. No, just like @robertfkennedyjr @realdonaldtrump is only interested in JFK's carcass...JFK drafted the civil rights act — Trump made DEI illegal. JFK stared down Russia and did not blink — Trump is Russia's closest ally. JFK sent a man to the moon — Trump gave Elon the keys to Air Force One. JFK created USAID — Trump eliminated it."
Joe Rogan on X on March 18: "So, who killed JFK?"
President Donald Trump said in his January executive order: "I have now determined that the continued redaction and withholding of information from records pertaining to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy is not consistent with the public interest and the release of these records is long overdue."
