Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have seemingly been doing their best when it comes to co-parenting their children.

The "Can't Tell Me Nothing" producer and rapper, 47, surprised viewers of The Kardashians when he appeared on the Thursday, February 20, episode of the reality show.

Kanye reunited with Kim in the episode to support their oldest daughter, North West, 11, in her performance of The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl. North played the role of Simba in the live musical performance as her parents watched from backstage.

Kim, 44, also talked about the encounter with the father of her children and the May 2024 event that brought them together during the episode. "Kanye and I want the best for our kids," she told her viewers and later explained that Kanye had "been involved" in North's performance and that he attended her rehearsals.

The 24-time Grammy Award-winning musician's appearance in the third episode of the season, which is appropriately titled "I Just Can't Wait to Be King," comes amid alleged reports of his divorce from his current wife, Bianca Censori. Talk of their split sparked after the two went viral for a stunt at the 2025 Grammys.

Kim and Kanye first met in the early 2000s and reconnected in 2008. The two started dating in 2012 after the SKIMS co-founder divorced her then-husband, Kris Humphries. The couple welcomed North in 2013 and tied the knot the following year in Florence, Italy. Kim gave birth to their second child and first son, Saint, in 2015. The duo welcomed their second daughter, Chicago, and second son, Psalm, via surrogate in 2018 and 2019, respectively.

The union, which was commonly referred to as "KimYe," called it quits and filed for divorce in 2021, finalizing their split in 2022.

New episodes of The Kardashians premiere every Thursday on Hulu.
